All the equipments manufactured by the premium group are used in spices processing. The choice of the machine depends on the processing requirements and the nature of the material to be processed. A brief list of applications I given below.

Process Equipments and Material Handling Equipments are used in the automation of the process lines. The thing to be noted is the requirement of the client and the property of the spice on one hand and the heat generation and work generated by the equipment on the other.

BRIEF NOTE ON COOL GRINDING OF SPICES

Spice have been in use from the beginning of civilization & are being used by people all over the world. The consumption of spices is substantial in oriental countries.

Before intervention of technology into Food industries, the Spices were ground by hand pounding and sieving in between pounding. Each housewife used to process a small quantity of spices for their requirement at home daily or for a period of a month. Since life was at leisure the spices were ground in slow pace. The produced good quality spices and practically with no loss in aroma.
In recent time the spices are being processed by manufactures & industries where large quantities of spices are being processed at the short period whereby the LEISURELY PACE is eliminated.
The faster rate of grinding spices essentially needs high input of energy in short time. This causes heating of spices & to a large extend of loss of flavors and aroma . In short the product SPICES is degraded.
So far the general population is used these spices in spite of they being degraded. This is mainly because to labour saving { convenient }. Slowly the market is waking up to the retention of flavors and maintaining the higher grade of spices.
For this it is essential to ensure avoiding to RAISE in temperature while grinding. It is reported in scientific circumstances that in many cases the product reaches a high temperature of 40 C – 43 C (when ambient temperature is 35 C) at the time grinding. This is for a short time but because of high temperature and large surface area of the particles coupled with flow of air WITHDRAWS/ELIMINATES the essentials oils by vaporization.
In many of turmeric grinding system it is reported that oil condenses in the dust bag collector to the extent that dripping of oil is noticed after long continuous grinding.
To avoid this a large Dust Collector (More No of Bags) is recommended.

THESE ARE THE VARIOUS METHODS OF AVOIDING TEMPERATURE RAISE WHILE GRINDING OF SPICES.

1. Cooling the raw material to very low temperature so that in spite of the fact of raise of temperature at the time of impact the net temperature of the product is substantially lower that vaporization temperature of essential oils.
2. Cooling the products substantially to around 5-8 C and around in an equipment having LOW GRINDING CHAMBER TEMPERATURE so that similar result is obtained.



CURRY MASALA MIRACLE MILL

CURRY MASALA WIZZON MILLS


The PREMIUM CURRY MASALA WIZZCON MILL (AIR SWEPT CONE MILL) is a screenless Size Reduction machine used to grind material which is of fibrous in nature in to fine powder. The feeding is done through wide hopper in to the grinding chamber. Here a case hardened double ended or star type swing hammers rotate at high speed attached to the rotor. The whole grinding chamber contains replaceable liners so that main body will not be subjected to wear & tear. The ground material is graded to the size by whizzer classifier and transfer to the cyclone collector pneumatically. The Classifier may be adjusted according to the mesh size requirement of material. The fan maintains constant air flow in the mill chamber in order to discharge the product. The no. of Hammer and Weight of Hammer will be selected as per APPLICATION.

UNIVERSAL MILLS


TECHNOLOGY

PREMIUM manufacture UNIVERSAL MILL to grind wide range of materials in desired partical size.

Three different type of BLAST ROTORS OR INCLUDED BAR OR PLATEBA mechanism and are DYNAMICALLY BALANCED. The CLASSIFIER STATORS Drums are FULL SCREEN HALF SCREEN AND HALF SERRATED GRINDING TRACK OR THREE QUARTER SCREEN AND ONE QUARTERSERRATED GRINDING LINER.

The GRINDING TOOLS are ALLOY STEEL and HARDENED ELEMENTS are FIXED ON PERIPHERY OF BLAST ROTOR.

PIN MILLS

GENERAL

The FEED MATERIAL is FED into CENTRE of ROTOR and is conveyed to the PERIPHERY through series of BEATER PLATE , thus gradually reducing to find powder. SCREEN DRUM fitted around ROTOR, permits ground material of desired FINENESS to come out of the MILL for collection.

IMPORTANT TECHNICAL INFORMATION ON PIN MILLS
PREMIUM PIN MILL is a specially designed pulverizer to deal efficiently and economically with a wide range of materials to grind them to predetermined fineness from COARSE to FINE POWDER up to 150 MESH (100 Micron) and above.
The grinding operation is effected through beating, shearing, crushing and auto collision of material. Feeding is manually for SMALL MILLS and for MEDIUM and LARGE CAPACITY MILLS, either HOPPER with HORIZONTAL GATE VALVE with rack & pinion is provided or SCREW FEEDER with VARIABLE SPEED DRIVE. This will give uniform and controlled FEED into the MILL.

PRE CLEANERS

GENERAL DESCRIPTION :


“ PREMIUM ’ PRE - CLEANER is for preliminary cleaning of all kinds of grains in milling plants, brewery and silo system. This machine is suitable for all kind of grains such as sorghum , wheat , Rice , soyabean , mustard etc. The powerful aspiration system situated at the side of the machine effectively removes light impurity and dust. Further the vibrating sieve removes stones, lumps of clay and other bigger impurities.

WORKING PRINCIPLE :

The grain cleaner is a combination of robust heavy duty grader and a powerful aspiration system. Material fed at the inlet passes through sieves which remove coarse and fine impurities. The clean material falls in the post aspiration chamber where the remaining dust particle and light impurities are remove by means of a powerful air current. Finally the clean grain is received at the outlet.The aspiration system comprises blower, Cyclone, Rotary Air Lock Valve and Dust Collector.

DESTONERS


The separation of stone from grains is on the basis of specific gravity of the material. A stream of grain with unwanted stones is fluidized by air flow. The material is fed at the higher end and the clean grain is discharged at the lower end.

The stones having higher specific gravity sink lower and closer to the fine wire mesh deck. The oscillation of deck takes the stones towards the higher side where the stones are discharged. The aspiration system comprises Blower, Cyclone, Rotary Air lock Valve.

    DRYERS

PREMIUM Tray Dryer is a direct heated type dryer for solid or liquid materials. Drying is carried out by forced air circulation in a cross-flow heating system. Strip heaters (for electrical heating) or steam tube coils (for steam heating) are mounted on both sides of the dryer. Depending on the working temperature required, adequate insulation thickness is provided to achieve the best efficiency.

Construction :

Body - M.S. Sheets forming double walls, fixed on inner and outer angular framework of M.S.
Door - Also of double-walled M.S. Sheets, with specially designed hinges to enable it to sit flush with the body when closed. Latch is provided. Trays - Size ( 800 x 400 x 30 mm ) ,


      BLENDERS



BABY BLENDER (LAB MODEL)

Blenders are used for making dough blending of pickle and dry mixing of two or more ingredients. Ribbon / Paddle type auger is mounted on the blender shaft.

The 'Premium' Baby Blenders have main body constructed from M.S or S.S plates of adequate section to give rigidity and robustness. The shaft is supported on bearings on which ribbon / Paddles are mounted. It gives homogenous mixing and easy loading and unloading of materials. The Blender body can be tilted for discharging. Suitable motor & gear box are provided.

The Premium Baby Blenders can be supplied with full length discharge type gate . This is needed in RESEARCH institutes.
  VIBRO SCREENS/ PPLAN SIFTER

PRINCIPLE :

Vibratory motion is the most effective method for screening. It causes 100% rotary motion and causes dispersion stirring and stratification of material to be sifted. Feed material constantly flows in Horizontal motion along a loop pattern on Vibro Screen Surface. “PREMIUM” Vibro Screen Provides optimum screening and assures maximum federates and efficiency.

FEATURES:

Vibro screen are driven by a special type of vertically mounted motor having eccentric weight at the upper and lower end of the shaft. Rotation of out of balance top weight causes vibration in Horizontal plane where as the rotation of lower weight causes tilt an vibrations in vertical plane.
