Feed Hammer Mill

With our many years of experience in the field of manufacture of Pulverising equipment of different types to suit individual requirement, we have now designed and developed a special type Hammer Mill, for heavy duty service to Pulverise Cattle and Poultry Feed, which gives a production rate of 1 MT/Hr., 2 MT/Hr., 5 MT/Hr. and 10 MT/Hr. for material having Bulk Density of 0.6 gms/cc.

The Mill can also be used for grinding other material, but capacity will differ depending upon type of material, its Bulk Density, feed size etc.

General Description : Material is fed into the grinding chamber where it is reduced in size by a set of Hammers which shatter, the material in mid-air. The material is immediately reduced in size and is drawn out from mill by a suction fan, through a sieve located at the base of the grinding chamber.

The suction fan (when ordered) is supplied separately and is connected to the mill outlet with suitable piping to convey the ground material pneumatically to a cyclone collector for collection of material

Construction Details :

  1. Drive is provided by a suitable HPx 2880RPMsquirrel cage induction motor (T.E.F.C. type) suitable for operation on 415 + 5% Volts, 3 Phase, 50 cycles,A.C. supply. The motor is directly coupled to the main rotorshaft through a flexible coupling.
  2. Body is of all steel robust construction and extreme care is taken while welding to prevent distortion.
  3. Rotor shaft is machined from Alloy Steel and is amply proportioned to resist torsion and bending. The shaft is mounted on double row self aligning ball bearings.
  4. Grinding hammers are made from specially heat treated alloy steel to give long wear life.
  5. Limit switch is provided to cut off power supply to the motor when the hinged section is opened for cleaning, maintenance or for changing the screen.
  6. Apowerful permanent magnet is fitted near the inlet hopper to prevent iron particles from entering the grinding chamber.
  7. Grinding (Rasp) plate is of serrated construction and is made from alloy-steel, duly hardened for wear resistance.
  8. Acommon bed plate is provided for mill and motor to make a compact unit.
  9. Heavy duty vibration dampers can be supplied on request to avoid heavy duty foundations.
  10. Feeding Arrangement :Ahopper is provided at the top for feeding material into the mill. This can be provided with a slide gate arrangement operated by a rack and pinion at extra cost.
  11. Screens : M. S. perforated screens fitted on frame and with 3mm dia holes are fitted inside the mill and are easily removable. The screens are mounted on two M.S. Strips bent into semi-circular profile and are held in position by two spring steel strips which are wrapped around the screen and held down by clamping bolts.
  12. Hammers (Beaters) : These are of ‘M’ type section for efficient grinding of animal feed and are made from hardened alooy steel. Two side of the hammers can be used for which two different mounting holes are provided, thereby increasing life by 100%.

Spares : All important spares such as Hammers, Screens etc. are readily available off the shelf.

Premium Turbo Classifier Mill is a fine grinding mill with integrated grinding, classifying, and conveying operations. Depending upon the material characteristics and parameters, output fineness can be anywhere between 200 mesh to 450 mesh. The equipment is a screenless pulveriser. The equipment operates on principle of spiral classifications.

The main shaft carries the rotor & blower fan. It has an adjustable gap plate. The blower fan sucks the air from grinding chamber, and discharges the air and product to cyclone where the product is collected.
The gap plate adjustment alters the amount of air flow which results in withdraw from grinding chamber. Once gap plate is adjusted, output fineness is uniform.

The equipment is recommended for soft and brittle material having MOH hardness up to 3. The feed size should not exceed 6 mm.

GENERAL

The purpose of a Mixer is to blend together two or more ingredients. In a Horizontal mixer the mixing cycle is fast and dry or wet mixing can be done. A ribbon paddle type auger is mounted on the mixer shaft and conveys the material from one end of the mixer to the other while it is tumbled within the mixer. Discharge opening is provided at the bottom to help in rapid discharge. These mixers are ideal where viscous material like (molasses) up to 10 % is added.

The 'Premium' Horizontal Mixer has a main body constructed from Steel plates of adequate thickness to give rigidity and robustness and stiffeners are provided appropriately. The shaft is supported on self aligning bearings on which the blender ribbon / paddle is mounted. The ribbon angle is adjusted to give maximum mixing efficiency. Liquid is poured into a perforated tray located at the top, through which it trickles down on the feed and get mixed within 7 to 10 minutes.

GENERAL ABOUT PREMIUM PELLET MILL

Basically the purpose of pelleting is to take a finely devised, some time dusty, unpalatable and difficult to handle feed material and by application of heat, moisture and pressure form it into larger particles. These larger particles or pellets are easier to handle, nore palatable and usually result in improved feeding results when compared to mesh feed.
The modern type pellet mills use a ring type die turning about two fixed rollers, with the die and rollers mounted in a vertical plane and consist of following component parts :-
  1. Feeder
  2. Pelleting device
  3. Prime mover
  4. Conditioning chamber
  5. Speed reduction device
  6. Base
The feeder is screw type and is equipped with a variable speed electric drive for speed control. The purpose of the feeder is to provide constant, controlled and even flow of feed to the mixing and pelletizing operation. Any variation in this flow results in poor conditioning and a variable products.

Conditioning is accomplished by the addition of controlled amounts of steam. Addition of steam supplies moisture for lubrication, liberates natural oils and in some cases results in partial geletinisation of starches.

The PELLETS are FED into FEED HOPPER. A manually operated FLAP VALVE. TWO ROLLS are longitudinally FLUTED and are supported by self - aligning roller bearing. The ROLL pressure is mechanically created by helical springs, which also provide protection against hard materials. The CRUMBLER is mounted on STEEL FRAME, and is driven by MOTOR and V-BELT pulleys at appropriate speed.

PELLETS of 3 to 6 mm Ø are CRUMBLED to smaller size with LEAST powder. Bigger size PELLETS of 8 mm Ø also can be CRUMBLED.

Cooler

PREMIUM VERTICAL PELLET COOLER is to COOL HOT PELLETS without DAMAGING/BREAKING. The FABRIC CLOTH LOUVERS do this efficiently. The Distributor distributes pellets on both sides of cooler.

The main body is made from thick Mild Steel Plates with necessary angle iron stiffeners. The Inlet Box made out of Aluminum/SS Sheets with Vertical Column and Discharger Inlet Box is fitted with Limit Switch. The Blower with curved self cleaning blades mounted on self aligned, heavy duty ball bearings and special alloy shaft. Blower exhaust can be either RHS or LHS viewing from inlet. Common Base Frame made our of Channels and Flats is mounted on ANTI-VIBRATION PADS.

The Pellet Cooler is provided with necessary Drive Parts and V-Belts, Slide rails and Belt Guard. Pellet Cooler is provided with required ducting, Blower, Cyclone and Rotary Airlock Valve for efficient cooling of Pellets.

Bearings – Flanged type end bearings are sealed for life. intermediate hanger bearings are precision die-cast with suitable inserts.
Drive – Consists of geared motor, chain & sprockets on a fabricated mounting. Drive arrangement oriented to meet site requirements.
Inlets & Outlets – Made to customers’ requirements and are factory fitted or assembled at site.
Used in elevating, distributing and reclaiming bulk materials with minimum of stagnant material and segregation, gives efficient transfer of material from horizontal to vertical with positive discharge in any desired direction.Vertical Screw Lifts can be supplied in carbon steel (normal), SS, hot dipped galvanised etc. surface hardened flights are also available. Housing is in convenient lengths, vertically split and flanged. Special pitch tapered double flight is provided at the lower portion.
Usually used in inclined operations with greater efficiency due to round shape of the troughs. Troughs available in a range of thickness and split types also.

PREMIUM Bag Weigher is an essential equipment in units producing large quantity of powders and which is to be bagged for convenience in marketing. The contents are accurately weighed and both the buyer an seller can be absolutely sure of weight. This is especially in demand where the valued of products is high and the customer is critical. The PREMIUM Bag Weigher is positioned between the source of powder (like storage bin etc.) and bag stitching machine. The filled bag can then be directly loaded on to the truck.

  • The operation of the Bag Weigher is very simple. The bag is positioned and clamped by bag holder.
  • The clamping is manual in model is MS(Manual Stop) and AS(Automatic Stop) and automatic in EPS (Electro Pneumatic Stop) Model.
  • The filling of the bag is started by actuating the filler lever.
  • The Bag Weigher is pre-caliberated when exact quantity of the material is filled in the bag, the flow will be stopped automatically of manually depending on the model.
  • Then the bag is declamped and passed on to the stitching machine.
  • One of the special feature of the PREMIUM Bag Weigher is the flying dust at the time of filling the bag does not come outside the equipment as suitable dust seal is provided which acts as aspirator.

Vibro Sieves



PRINCIPLE:

Vibratory motion is the most effective method for screening. It causes 100% rotary motion and causes dispersion stirring and stratification of material to be sifted. Feed material constantly flows in Horizontal motion along a loop pattern on Vibro Screen Surface. “PREMIUM” Vibro Screen Provides optimum screening and assures maximum federates and efficiency.

FEATURES:

Vibro screen are driven by a special type of vertically mounted motor having eccentric weight at the upper and lower end of the shaft. Rotation of out of balance top weight causes vibration in Horizontal plane where as the rotation of lower weight causes tilt an vibrations in vertical plane.

Bin Discharger

It is designed to discharge the material at required rate. Impeller is made out of C.I. or M.S. Casing made out of heavy duty plate. Outlet is provided with rack & pinion operated gate.

Impeller is directly fixed on geared motor shaft. So overall it is very compact. Bottom is bolted construction for easy maintenance.

Rotary Air lock Valves



This is the simplest form of vane feeder, which consist of a rotating pocketed rotor operating in a housing so that pockets receive material from one opening in the housing & deliver it through another. The control of material flow is obtained by regulating the speed of the rotor.

The type of valve offered by us as standard is recommended for handling fine .Pulverised of granular materials, small enough in size & sufficiently friable so that lumps will not jam between the close fitting radial vanes & the housing. Material enters the housing from above & as the rotor revolves, each pocket discharges as it reaches the opening in the bottom.Clearance between the vanes and the housing is kept such that it prevent free passage of air between inlet and and outlet sides of feeder.

1. Body of close grained cast iron or Fabricated from M.S. Amply proportioned to     provide adequate strength and rigidity.
